The Project Liaison Officer Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Liaison Officer. You will assist the co-ordination and production of investment and regeneration projects including identification, development and implementation of projects to benefit the public sector stock.
You will be providing support for the delivery of projects whilst working on projects within the Asset Management Team as required and provide a pro-active, efficient and effective customer liaison service.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Project Liaison Officer role:
- To provide an on-site presence as required preventing and/or resolving customer problems. Identify and signpost repair and vulnerability issues accordingly.
- Carry out lone visits to customer homes to conduct comprehensive tenant inductions before major works, carry out any required follow up visits during the works and a redecoration allowance assessment visit following completion of the works.
- To consult with residents and local members on an individual and collective basis at all stages of project development and delivery.
- To work closely and build excellent working relationships with officers from other Services, contractors and agencies to assist the smooth running of investment and regeneration schemes.
- To have responsibility under the supervision of the Project Manager, for the delivery of schemes, initiatives and programmes ensuring project timetables, budgets and briefs are adhered to.
- To prepare and present reports to senior officers, members and partners as required.
