Engineering Cadetship

As a marine engineering cadet you will learn about the maintenance of the vessel’s engine room and mechanical machinery. Subjects include marine legislation, marine propulsion, thermodynamics, and workshop skills.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of four National 5’s/GCSE at grade C or above, including Maths, English and a science‑based subject.

  • Successful candidates must obtain an unrestricted ENG1 certificate before commencing the program.
