As a Fleet 4th Engineer you will be responsible to the Master in all respects and directly accountable to the Second Engineer for the execution of your duties. You will perform a wide range of engineering tasks, using and developing your problem‑solving skills across diverse scenarios. Key duties include maintaining the vessel’s engineering systems, supervising engine room operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited CoC)
  • STCW Elementary First Aid
  • STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
  • STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
  • STCW Personal Survival Techniques
  • STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
  • STCW Seafarers with Designated Security Duties
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK

Preferred:

  • High Voltage Operational training
  • Crowd Management training
  • Passenger Safety training
