Deck Cadetship
We offer a number of Deck cadetships. As a deck officer cadet, you will be a part of the ship’s management team, learning vessel steering and navigation while ensuring the overall safe operation of our vessels. Subjects on this course include Bridge watchkeeping, stability, chartwork, and emergency response & communications.
Engineering Cadetship
We offer a number of Engine cadetships. As a marine engineering cadet, you will learn about the maintenance of the vessel’s engine room and mechanical machinery. Subjects on this course include marine legislation, marine propulsion, thermodynamics, and workshop skills.
Electrotechnical Cadetship
We offer a number of Electro-Technical cadetships. As an Electro Technical cadet, you will learn about the running and maintenance of our vessels' electro-technical equipment. Subjects on this course include mathematics for electrical engineers, engineering science, radio communications, and electrical principles and systems.
Must-haves
- A minimum of four National 5's/GCSE at grade C or above, which must include Maths, English, and a Science-based subject.
- Hold a valid UK/EEA Passport.
- Have been a resident of the UK for the last 36 months.
