As a Port Duty Manager at Stena Line, you will help deliver smooth, safe and reliable port operations while supporting and developing the people who make it possible. This role offers a rare blend of hands-on leadership, operational responsibility and real impact. You will influence the passenger and driver experience every day, work with a supportive and highly motivated team, and contribute to continuous improvements that shape how our port operates. It's a role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and leading people in an environment where teamwork truly matters.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Lead and guide port teams according to Stena Line leadership principles.
- Manage day-to-day operational activities to ensure safe and efficient port operations.
- Maintain vessel schedules and operational standards.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, processes and safety.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate emergency responses and ensure staff training is up to date.
- Conduct audits, toolbox talks and inspections.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify training needs and support development within the team.
- Build strong relationships with local partners such as Port Authorities, Police and Border Force.

Qualifications:
- Supervisory or leadership experience in maritime, logistics or transport operations
- Understanding of HSSE requirements and employment regulations
- Ability to lead operational teams using best practice
- Knowledge of port operations, safety procedures and emergency readiness
- Full clean driving licence
