From assisting passengers and freight customers to managing check-in and boarding activities, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring journeys start safely, smoothly, and with a smile. The role offers a unique 4 days on, 12 days off working pattern, providing an excellent work-life balance while remaining an integral part of the Belfast Ports & Terminals team. Some of your key responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service in line with Stena Line's Welcoming, Caring and Reliable behaviours.
Handle check-in and boarding processes for passengers, travel vehicles, and freight customers. Assist customers with bookings, travel information, re-bookings, and timetable changes where required. Support customers using self-service technology and technical equipment. Respond to customer enquiries both in person and through digital communication channels. Contribute to a strong safety culture by prioritising safety in all activities and reporting potential risks or near misses.
Working closely with colleagues across Ports & Terminals, Freight, Travel, Onboard Sales & Services and other support functions, you'll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive great service every step of the way. Qualifications
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written. Ability to communicate in the local language where required. Experience using digital systems and technology in a working environment. Experience within customer service, travel, logistics, retail, hospitality, or a similar service-focused environment. Ability to work flexible shift patterns.
Full driving licence for passenger vehicles (where operationally required). This is an internal permanent part-time position (21 hours per week) based in Belfast Port within our Ports & Terminals department.
