Stena Line have an exciting opportunity for a creative and sales driven Manager who will work with and empower the Coach and Groups segment into continued success. As a Coach and Groups Manager you will grow the commercial contribution of Coach and Groups through identifying and taking advantage of opportunities through new and existing customers. You will manage the department and continue to find new ways to be more effective and efficient in daily operations.
Some of your key responsibilities:
- Work with the Trade & Regional Travel Teams to create a growth strategy for Coach & Groups.
- Develop and execute an activity plan to target potential new customers from identified prospects.
- Maintain existing accounts and generate new business.
- Work with the Trade Team to set the commercial budget for the department and to participate in regular forecast updates.
- Perform day to day sales activity including sales calls, contracting & rate negotiation.
- Manage the inbound Coach & Groups Contact Centre operation and team.
- Work with the Onboard Sales and Service and Operations Teams to co-ordinate commercial efforts, maximize revenue and enhance the customer experience.
- Weekly reporting on account performance.
- Undertake competitor analysis on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years Business Development or Sales experience.
- A strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build new relationships and maintain existing ones.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Experienced people manager with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee & delegate work to others.
- Full UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
