The predicted salary is between 800 - 1400 ÂŁ per month.
Some of the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that goods are handled correctly, both into and out of the Warehouse in accordance with Company procedures and procedures set by HMRC.
- Carrying out duties as per the Warehouse Manager/Warehouse Supervisor instructions.
- Taking part in the Warehouse Trainee Program as set by Warehouse Manager.
- Checking goods coming into the warehouse.
- Helping prepare and secure cargo in offshore baskets, containers and skids in line with offshore packaging and lifting standards.
- Moving received items to the correct racking, or laydown areas in line with segregation rules (e.g. hazardous vs non-hazardous, quarantine vs serviceable).
- Picking materials from pick lists or work orders for specific rigs, well campaigns or projects.
- Assembling “kits” for planned jobs and staging them within the dispatch area.
- Ensuring goods returned from rig are dealt with promptly.
- Ensuring critical spares list is up to date and all spares are accounted for and comply with SDL Warehouse procedures.
- Measuring and checking weights, updating load lists and marking containers/skids with correct weights and identification.
- Keeping racking, bins and laydown areas organised and clearly labelled.
- Ensuring heavy/awkward items are stored safely and access routes are kept clear.
- General Warehouse and yard housekeeping duties.
The title of “Trainee” will be reviewed after the 1-year duration of the Trainee Warehouse Logistics training plan.
