In this role, you will directly support STEMCELL employees and provide proactive maintenance/improvements of STEMCELL’s cloud-hosted systems. You will have the opportunity to learn about and support STEMCELL’s business-specific tools (such as lab and analytical equipment) and join project teams to support company-wide technology improvements. You will possess a good understanding of software and hardware systems, have good experience with modern technology (cloud, automation), and have a passion for delivering consistent and excellent customer service. Please note, this is an onsite position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the IS Department and Business to evaluate user requests, clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs; assist in determining feasibility, time requirements, compatibility with current system and system capabilities.
- Offer creative initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate on delivering the best IS solutions while assisting the IS team with issues requiring technical expertise.
- Monitor ongoing performance of systems and develop updates or modifications according to business needs.
- Plan and perform regular scheduled maintenance, including updating documentation.
- Respond to emergencies and system failures including after-hours problems; lead response and resolution of escalated issues.
Knowledge and Qualifications
- Up to 3 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in a Tier 2 support role working with Windows, MacOS, iOS devices managed with InTune and/or Kandji, print services and A/V equipment.
- Degree or diploma in a technology-related discipline, or a mix of industry certifications and/or experience.
- Takes a collaborative approach to problem-solving and has the ability to think critically alongside the capability to handle standard technical issues.

The annual salary for this job ranges from: £24,700.00 - £37,100.00. STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package that may include health benefits, retirement savings, and more (depending on region).
