About the Role:
As a Technical Support Officer, you'll support the execution of client-facing projects, primarily focusing on immune safety testing. Your responsibilities will span histopathology (FFPE processing, tissue sectioning, staining), lab operations, and quality control. You'll be working closely with our scientific team to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality project delivery in line with ISO9001 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform FFPE processing, sectioning, and H&E/IHC staining of human tissue (up to 300 blocks/week).
- Support setup with blood and tissue sample prep.
- Maintain clean, well-stocked lab spaces and manage equipment checks.
- Assist with ordering systems, stock control, and safe waste disposal.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and contribute to internal audits.
- Collaborate on cell culture method development and maintenance of frozen cell stocks.
- Support health & safety protocols and report incidents proactively.
- Provide induction/training on lab protocols where needed.
Skills and Experience

- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience of histological processing and human tissue culture.
