Manufacturing Supervisor

STEM Recruitment and looking for an experienced Production Supervisor based in Glasgow.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the manufacturing of relevant products in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and ISO13485 guidelines.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact scheduled manufacturing tasks, including but not limited to quality deviations, equipment malfunctions, or resource constraints. Escalate as appropriate and ensure timely resolution.

• Foster and maintain a strong Quality Culture across the manufacturing areas. Promote adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP), 5S, and ensure all processes and procedures are strictly followed.

• Monitor and review in-process testing activities to confirm product specifications are maintained, ensuring compliance and traceability of results.

• Ensure strict implementation and documentation of environmental procedures, including cleaning, access control, and gowning protocols, in accordance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Support performance management through mentoring, coaching, and where required, disciplinary actions in line with company policies.
