We are working with a well-established engineering business that requires an experienced Management Accountant to support the finance function during a busy period of change and improvement. This is a hands-on contract role where you will work closely with the Finance Director to bring the management accounts up to date and implement more robust reporting processes.
The Role
- Bringing management accounts up to date and ensuring accuracy
- Producing and improving reports using Sage 200
- Supporting the Finance Director with financial analysis and insights
- Working closely with the Accounts Senior to improve processes
- Sharing best practice and helping to enhance overall finance procedures
- Providing guidance and informal training on Sage 200 where required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant within a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience with Sage 200 (highly desirable)
- Confident in producing and reviewing management accounts
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support and guide others
- Experience within engineering or manufacturing would be advantageous
