STEM Recruitment is seeking a permanent Product Development Engineer (I) for our client, FlexMedical Solutions, based in Livingston, Scotland. You will be part of a dynamic team, supporting the development of diagnostic products from concept through to manufacturing within an ISO13485 environment.
Your role involves collaborating with senior engineers to develop solutions, designing feasibility experiments, generating technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Hands-on experience with design, using modern manufacturing and metrology equipment
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks or Draftsight
- Ability to perform statistical analysis using Minitab
- Understanding of manufacturing methods including rapid prototyping
Knowledge of biosensor design, DFM methodologies, and validation processes are highly desirable.
