We are currently seeking a motivated Temporary Laboratory Technician with a BSc in a science-related field to support our client’s product development activities. The role, based in Edinburgh, involves preparing reagents, buffers, and samples, maintaining laboratory equipment and cleanliness. It also involves managing stock inventories and supporting documentation for GMP and SOP compliance. This position is highly detail-oriented, requiring commitment to accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. An opportunity to move into a permanent role is available.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Science, Mathematics, or English subject
  • Experience in laboratory or regulated environment
  • Understanding of basic laboratory procedures and SOP adherence
  • Good documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Proficient in core IT packages (e.g. MS Office)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a proactive approach
