STEM Recruitment is seeking a Principal Scientist with experience of Biophysics for a role based in Edinburgh. You will lead Drug Discovery projects, providing scientific leadership and applying expertise across various biophysical techniques such as SPR, GCI, ITC, DLS, DSF, and SEC-MALS.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing projects from initial client discussions to successful delivery
- Generating high-quality data
- Contributing to business proposals
- Mentoring junior team members
The role requires a strong background in Pharmaceutical or related scientific fields, with extensive experience applying biophysical techniques in Drug Discovery settings, and preferably some experience in Protein Science or Structural Biology.

- Degree in a relevant field plus PhD or equivalent experience

- Experience across a broad range of biophysical techniques, including SPR, GCI, ITC, DLS, DSF, and SEC-MALS
