We are looking for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to take ownership of automation and control systems within a busy manufacturing environment.
This is a specialist role, suited to someone whose experience is heavily focused on PLC programming, modification and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead for PLC and machine control systems
- Programme, modify and fault find PLCs, including Siemens and Mitsubishi
- Diagnose faults across automated equipment and industrial control systems
- Support equipment upgrades, new installations and system improvements
- Review and update electrical drawings, schematics and control documentation
- Work with suppliers and contractors on automation and controls projects
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and manufacturing processes
About You
- Strong, hands-on PLC experience gained in a dedicated controls, automation or systems-focused role
- Experience programming and fault finding on Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs
- The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic
- Experience working with automated machinery within a manufacturing equipment
- A methodical approach to fault finding, problem solving and root cause analysis

- Salary starting from Β£50,000 per annum
- Monday-Friday dayshift role
