Stem Recruitment have a new opportunity for Quality Team Leader based near Eyemouth. The role includes owning the end-to-end ‘claim-to-improvement’ cycle: convert customer and internal claims into actionable root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and verified production improvements—raising product quality, stabilising processes, and improving efficiency.

Responsibilities- Lead triage and investigation of customer and internal claims; ensure information capture and registration in Customer Connect and the new internal system.
- Design and deploy the internal claim management system (workflow, forms, escalation rules, KPIs).
- Produce/validate responses including corrective and preventive actions; steer cross-functional communication.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering, Materials/Process, Quality or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong manufacturing quality background with demonstrated root-cause analysis and CI delivery (A3/8D/5 Whys, Kaizen).
- Proven ability to lead small technical teams and influence production stakeholders.
- Experience producing customer and internal claim responses with clear CAPA and prevention plans.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 and BRC systems (audits, documentation, traceability).
