STEM Recruitment solutions are looking for an experienced finance professional with strong leadership skills! We are looking for a proactive Office Manager/Accountant to take charge of our client’s day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while supporting the team’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Managing daily bookkeeping and financial records
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Processing purchase and sales invoices in Xero
- Overseeing debt management and payment runs
- Processing weekly payroll (Xero)
- Handling VAT returns and liaising with external accountants
- Reporting job costing to Directors and Senior Management
- Managing office staff, training, and general administration
- Overseeing vehicle management, utilities, and insurance
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar finance role
- Office management experience is not essential!
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience with Xero (desired but not essential)
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset
