You will perform a schedule of planned preventative maintenance in order to minimise downtime and be on hand to deal with breakdown in a quick and efficient manner so that production can resume very quickly.The role requires someone who can complete electrical maintenance so you should have a relevant electrical qualification.The job itself will have a great deal of variety and include:Emergency breakdown maintenance. Instrumentation repairs, modifications and upgradesCompleting a schedule of planned preventive maintenanceWorking on engineering projectsLogging all records and completing documentationPerforming continuous improvement activitiesOperating to health and safety standardsComplying with quality and industry standardsWorking on control systems, drives and PLCsThe job involves working across several departments, building good working relationships with colleagues and also dealing with external contractors where required.
