STEM Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturer in the electrical engineering sector to recruit an Electrical Fitter for their growing team. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of projects, producing high-quality electrical systems used across multiple industries.
The Role:
- Panel wiring and control wiring to a high standard of safety and accuracy
- PLC wiring and related electrical installation
- Building and wiring of switchgear, switchboards, and distribution boards
- Assembly and wiring of motor control centres (MCCs)
- Occasional site-based work across the UK when required
The Person:
- Experienced Electrical Fitter / Panel Wireman
- Background in panel wiring essential
- Able to interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- NC/HNC in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification/experience
- Experience with switchgear, MCCs, and testing panels would be advantageous
Whats on Offer:
- Permanent, full-time position
- 4-day working week - enjoy a long weekend every week
- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (37.5 hrs per week)
- £32,000 - £36,000 - depending on experience
