Are you experienced in electrical maintenance and looking to advance your career in reliability engineering? We’re seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
In this position, you’ll be responsible for assessing equipment reliability and identifying areas for improvement. You’ll conduct root cause analyses, facilitate inspections, and optimise maintenance practices while working closely with the maintenance team to develop and implement electrical maintenance programmes.
Responsibilities- Design and perform critical electrical equipment inspections to ensure reliability.
- Analyse and document electrical equipment failures and establish repair alternatives.
- Implement risk-based decision-making processes to prioritise maintenance activities.
- Develop and enhance preventive maintenance programmes focused on electrical components and systems.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to ensure alignment with CMMS systems.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on electrical reliability practices.
- Prepare reports detailing findings, recommendations, and project status.
- Assist in budgeting and CAPEX planning related to electrical reliability initiatives.
- Coordinate with other departments to drive improvements in inspection and maintenance processes.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in electrical maintenance / reliability engineering within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- University level education in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential.
- Strong understanding of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).
- Proficient in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and fault diagnosis.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, PLCs, and control circuits.
