We’re currently recruiting for two senior delivery roles:
- Electrical Manager
- Mechanical Manager
Both positions sit within a growing M&E delivery team and report into Operations. These are hands-on leadership roles responsible for managing full M&E packages on commercial projects — from mobilisation through commissioning and handover.
You’ll take ownership of your discipline while working closely with the wider project team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
The Role
As either Electrical or Mechanical Manager, you will:
- Take overall ownership of allocated projects within your discipline
- Lead internal teams, subcontractors, and support departments
- Act as the main M&E interface with clients and project stakeholders
- Drive site safety culture and personally set the standard
- Deliver projects to agreed cost, time, quality, and client satisfaction targets
- Implement company project delivery processes and tools
- Manage change control, variations, valuations, and forecasting alongside commercial teams
- Monitor and report project progress internally and externally
- Collaborate with main contractors to resolve programme pinch points
- Produce discipline-specific programmes and support commissioning schedules
- Manage procurement to ensure correct materials arrive in line with programme
- Interpret drawings and specifications, resolving technical queries via RFI processes
- Coordinate subcontractors and manage communication flows
- Attend and contribute to all project meetings
- Ensure quality systems are implemented and maintained
- Support commissioning, soft landings, O&M manuals, and client training
- Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
- Create a high-performance team environment and optimise resource utilisation
About You
We’re open to candidates with either an Electrical or Mechanical background. You’ll ideally bring:
- Proven experience delivering commercial M&E projects (£100k–£4m+)
- A demonstrable track record in project delivery
- Building Services qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
- Experience leading site teams and subcontractors
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good commercial awareness
- Confident client-facing communication
- Solid IT skills (Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of estimating, procurement, technical, and commercial disciplines
- A proactive, collaborative approach to delivery
