Job Description

TRAINEE METAL POLISHER RAF-4214 STELLEX MANUFACTURING LTDStellex Manufacturing Ltd based in Batley are looking for a Trainee Metal Polisher.

We offer an extensive range of products for use in the catering industry, from the simplest of tables for food preparation through to bespoke servery counters.

Throughout the Companys trading history, we have earned a reputation within the catering fabrication and distributor markets for providing high quality solutions and services to all its end users.

We are now expanding into the Pharmaceutical and veterinary markets.

Reporting to the Production Manager your role will be to assist with metal polishing duties and develop your metal polishing skills in line with Company expectations.

Learn to become proficient and efficient in using hand tools to complete all metal finishing on a variety and size of products.

Assist with all aspects of metal polishing including buffing, graining of Stainless Steel and Aluminium.

All items must be finished to a high standard.

Assist with carrying out the necessary checks and quality assurance of products prior to final inspection and despatch.

Maintain and ensure equipment is safe, clean and in good working order, reporting any defaults that may arise.

Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies at all times.

Any other duties commensurate within this position and skill set required.

In order to be considered for this role you must: Possess a minimum Level 1 qualification in fabrication / engineering.

Have the ability to work within a team or on your own initiative.

Be able to solve problems when required.

Ability to multi-task and be flexible Possess a can do attitude.

Pay attention to detail and quality.

Possess the ability to multi task.
