The Role
- As our Principal Rendering Engineer you will be working closely with our Technical Director and Engineering team to develop and optimise the rendering and graphics technology we implement on our AAA projects.
- Your main focus will be collaborating with our team of engineers, artists, and technical artists to design, implement, and optimize rendering features.
- You will be at the forefront of creating visually stunning and immersive experiences for our players - we want our games to inspire and amaze.
- Develop and optimize rendering features.
- Implement shaders and lighting systems.
- Collaborate with artists to achieve exceptional visual quality.
- Optimize performance and memory usage.
- Maintain and enhance the rendering pipeline.
- Research and implement cutting-edge rendering techniques.
- Provide technical guidance to the team.
Requirements
- Significant experience in real-time rendering and graphics programming.
- Proficiency in C++ and shader programming languages (e.g., HLSL, GLSL).
- Strong understanding of rendering algorithms and techniques.
- Experience with Unreal Engine or other modern game engines.
- Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience shipping AAA titles is a plus.
Bonus Points
- At least one, or two extra languages under your belt.
- Previous experience in building large scale, realtime, multiplayer games.
