Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm

About the role of Case Manager:

As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing mortgage applications from initial submission through to completion. You will ensure each case is accurately packaged, fully compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and ready for assessment by the underwriting team. This role requires a proactive and organised approach, with strong attention to detail and confident communication skills to effectively liaise with brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining case progress, resolving queries efficiently, and ensuring a smooth and timely journey for each application from start to finish.

Responsibilities required for the role of Case Manager:

  • To process mortgage applications from initial receipt through to completion.
  • Manage a case pipeline, ensuring applications are proactively managed to offer stage.
  • Assessment of all supporting documentation, identifying issues that require an escalation to the underwriting team.
  • Deliver a first-class proactive customer service through inbound and outbound communication by telephone, email and letter to all case stakeholders including introducers, service suppliers, reference providers and occasionally applicants.
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy for data entry and ongoing record keeping.
  • Supporting the underwriting team and peer group in delivering an excellent, compliant service and a prompt and accurate decision at each stage of the process.

Experience required for the role of the Case Manager:

  • Experience gained in a similar role with a good understanding of the mortgage lifecycle, from application to completion.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry, documentation and record keeping.
