About our Client and the role of Regional Account Manager – Bridging:
An exciting opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected specialist lender with over 20 years of success in the market. With a strong presence and reputation in the intermediary space, this business is known for its deep industry expertise and long-standing relationships.
As a Regional Account Manager, you\’ll be responsible for originating new lending opportunities across bridging finance and development finance. You\’ll manage and grow relationships with mortgage intermediaries, professional introducers, and direct applicants, playing a key role in driving business growth and meeting revenue targets.
What sets this opportunity apart is the support structure-you\’ll benefit from having your own dedicated telephone BDM, working alongside you to help drive your sales pipeline and contribute directly to your targets.
We welcome candidates from a bridging or development finance background, especially those with a strong track record in specialist lending and a proactive, self-starter mindset.
Responsibilities for the role of Regional Account Manager – Bridging:
- Proactively manage your diary to maximise face-to-face meetings and drive new business across bridging finance.
- Build and nurture relationships with mortgage intermediaries, introducers, and direct clients within your region.
- Work closely with internal sales support and leadership to maintain a strong, active pipeline.
- Respond to new enquiries promptly, logging activity accurately in the CRM.
- Develop a strong understanding of our products and criteria to support and train broker partners.
- Represent the company at industry events and attend head office meetings when required.
- Stay up to date on market trends and competitor activity to support product development.
Experience required for the role of Regional Account Manager – Bridging:
- Experience in business development and working with introducers, ideally within bridging or development finance. Candidates from the wider mortgage market with limited exposure to these areas will also be considered.
- A proven ability to manage your own diary and operate effectively in a field-based role is essential.
- Excellent sales, presentation, and training skills, particularly when supporting broker and intermediary partners.
- Demonstrated strength in relationship-building and clear communication, both written and verbal.
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams.
