About the Bridging Loan Advisor
Are you an organised, client-focused mortgage professional who enjoys managing cases from initial enquiry through to completion, working closely with brokers and lenders to get deals done? Do you thrive in a busy brokerage environment where accuracy, compliance, communication, and strong relationships are essential? If you're CeMAP qualified, detail-oriented, confident on the phone, and experienced across regulated and unregulated cases, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record all new enquiries on the CRM upon receipt
- Complete fact finds for regulated bridging cases where advice is provided
- Source suitable lending options for all enquiries
- Follow up initial enquiries with brokers/clients
- Issue terms and required compliance documents; carry out recommendation calls for regulated cases
- Maintain accurate case notes and well-organised digital/physical files
- Complete introducer due diligence checks
- Notify Compliance of new brokers for onboarding and documentation requests
- Review AIPs and offers for accuracy of financial and lending details
- Check application packs and supporting documents
- Review valuations and submit to lenders where required
- Monitor case progress and ensure completion updates are accurate before issuing
- Coordinate and communicate updates between all parties promptly
Experience required:
- Professional telephone manner with the ability to communicate clearly and build relationships with brokers and clients
- Solid understanding of mortgage regulation, lender criteria, and when to refer or advise on regulated vs unregulated cases
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Well-organised with excellent time management, able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CeMAP qualified (for regulated business), with GCSE Maths & English, a proactive mindset, and a positive, team-focused attitude
