Location: Watford
Salary: Confirmed on application
Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm

About the position of Head of Asset Management:
Join a leading specialist lender and take the lead on possession sales and complex asset management. You'll maximise asset value, support borrowers to avoid repossession, and provide expert property advice to influence key business decisions.
Responsibilities for the role of Head of Asset Management:
- Drive the successful disposal of assets in possession or receivership, maximising value for the business.
- Support pre-possession cases, helping borrowers find alternatives to repossession wherever possible.
- Provide expert property advice on complex assets to the Servicing team.
- Analyse trends and issues, delivering insights to Valuation and other teams to guide business risk decisions.
- Lead training initiatives to upskill colleagues and promote informed lending decisions.
- Build and grow a scalable division, ensuring the team can meet evolving business demands.
- Partner closely with the Head of Valuation to reduce key man dependency and strengthen departmental resilience.
Experience and skills required for the role of Head of Asset Management:
- Proven experience working with a lender or servicer, with knowledge of property sales, loan security valuations, and/or asset management.
- Ability to analyse and present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Logical, solution-focused thinker who works well under pressure and manages priorities effectively.
- Team-oriented, approachable, flexible, and articulate.
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
