We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst for one of our FS clients in Glasgow.

As a Business Analyst, you will be a critical link between the business objectives and the technology solutions. You will be responsible for defining, documenting, and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of complex change and transformation initiatives.

We are looking for a business analyst who:

  • Is passionate about understanding complex business problems and translating them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Is highly skilled in stakeholder management and communication across all levels of the business.
  • Ensures business analysis best practices, clear documentation standards, and continual improvements are adhered to.
  • Can work closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, and Developers to define and refine the scope and requirements needed to meet strategic goals.
  • Can base themselves on client site 2 days per week.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in major change or IT transformation programmes.
  • Expert-level proficiency in a range of requirements elicitation techniques (e.g., workshops, interviews, process mapping).
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality functional and technical specifications.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Working with internal teams to meet regulatory and operational standards.
  • Recent Financial Services experience.
