This is a part-time, remote role for an Immigration Lawyer. The role involves providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a variety of immigration and visa matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Preparing and submitting visa applications
- Conducting legal research
- Advising on immigration law and policies
- Representing clients in appeals or tribunal hearings when necessary
- Building and maintaining client relationships to ensure a seamless immigration experience
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge and expertise in UK immigration law and visa application processes
- Excellent research and analytical skills to thoroughly examine immigration policies and client cases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft legal documents and effectively communicate with clients
- Experience in client counseling and providing tailored legal advice
- Proficiency in handling case management systems and working remotely with technological tools
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
- Relevant qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification; Solicitor or Barrister with active practice certificate preferred
- Experience in handling immigration appeal cases and tribunal hearings is an advantage
