The Studio: We are a video game development studio with offices in Guildford, UK and Utrecht, Netherlands. The Role: We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Vehicle Handling & Physics team, working to bridge the gap between Design and Code to create, implement and refine vehicle handling systems for immersive driving experiences. You will take ownership of the Physics system and implement the code that shapes how vehicles feel and respond.
As a Vehicle Handling Engineer, you will:
- Take ownership of our Physics and vehicle systems
- Develop core driving mechanics that create unforgettable driving experiences
- Work closely with the Design team to translate 'feel' into scalable systems
What we are looking to see on your CV:
- Strong C++ and Unreal Engine experience
- Experience integrating and owning Physics systems (e.g. PhysX, Havok or Chaos)
- Solid understanding of 3D Maths, collision detection, vehicle handling and multithreaded programming
Bonus points if you have:
- Shipped racing titles
- Previous experience building large scale, real-time, multiplayer games
