The Role: We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Vehicle Handling & Physics team, working to bridge the gap between Design and Code to create, implement and refine vehicle handling systems to create truly immersive, authentic, and responsive driving experiences. Taking ownership of the Physics system, you will implement the code that shapes how vehicles feel and respond in the hands of players. Our teams are really pushing the limits of what’s possible – if you’re excited by ambitious projects, complex technical challenges and solving problems, this could be the role for you.

As a Vehicle Handling Engineer, you will:

  • Take ownership of our Physics and vehicle systems
  • Develop core driving mechanics that create unforgettable driving experiences
  • Work closely with the Design team to translate 'feel' into scalable systems

What we're looking to see on your CV:

  • Strong C++ and Unreal Engine experience
  • Experience integrating and owning Physics systems (e.g. PhysX, Havok or Chaos)
  • Solid understanding of 3D Maths, collision detection, vehicle handling and multithreaded programming

Bonus points if you have:

  • Shipped racing titles under your belt
  • Previous experience building large scale, real-time, multiplayer games
