Stellar Despatch provides urgent express same-day logistics solutions to a diverse range of industries 24/7, 365 days a year. We conduct collections and deliveries of consignments urgently by road throughout the UK and work with a range of clients from all business sectors.
We are looking for a motivated individual, preferably with experience within a transport and logistics environment. Your role will involve:
- Allocating work to couriers in a clear, fair, and transparent manner.
- Routing vehicles in an ever-changing environment.
- Monitoring jobs from collection to completion, keeping everyone informed in a professional and helpful manner.
- Being proactive with communication and keeping other team members and customers informed of any issues/delays.
- Managing and exceeding customer expectations with a professional manner.
- Accurately taking bookings and advising customers of our service.
Skills/Attributes:
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Self-motivated and a natural optimist.
- Ideally have previous knowledge of the transport industry.
- Works well in a team or individually in a pressured environment.
- Be adaptable to change and understand customers' delivery requirements.
- Able to keep calm under pressure.
