Join our team at Stellar Drainage Environmental Services as part of a Fresh Water Digging Team. We are a reputable company known for providing high-quality property repairs within the drainage and water sector.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • A good understanding of safe working practices.
  • The ability to be part of an out of hours on call rota which includes evenings and weekends.
  • Wearing of full uniform PPE; vehicle and mobile phone will be supplied.
  • Cat scanning.
  • Excavation works to repair fresh water supply pipes for Scottish Water and local council authorities.
  • Pipe repairs.
  • Back fill and reinstatement to a high standard.
  • Following all health and safety procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all current client processes and procedures.
  • Using company provided device (iPad/Tablet/phone) and completion of appropriate paperwork for daily works (job sheets/risk assessments/plant sheets/driver checks).
  • Interpreting the use of drawings and specifications.

The candidate should have the relevant experience as well as:

  • Drivers licence.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Confined Space certification.
  • DOMS and Water Hygiene certification.
  • General Health & Safety training.
  • Manual Handling.
  • Asbestos Awareness.
  • Abrasive Wheels (or equivalent safety certifications).

This role will involve communication with representatives of our client; therefore, good communication skills are a must.

The role requires some flexibility with regard to working hours, including the need to work some evenings and the occasional weekend, together with the need to occasionally travel outside of the Glasgow and surrounding areas.
