We are looking for an experienced Payroll Advisor to join our dedicated Stellantis Payroll Team.

Payroll Advisor job responsibilities include:
- Process New Hires/Internal transfers ensuring compliance with HMRC and Policy.
- Process Leavers, ensuring final payments are processed and calculated accurately.
- Process Job Changes, this includes salary, organisational and accounting structures.
- Understand payroll calculations and processes.
- Manage Absence entry into Time and attendance system and identify employees due to lose their entitlements.
- Liaise with Group providers for pensions, shares and Childcare Vouchers.
- Undertake monthly payroll checking prior to commit.
- Prepare MDUs for upload by SSC or MOA.
- Specialisms in key areas, for example Maternity.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Sound payroll technical knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements and be able to apply this to varied circumstances, terms, internal policies.
- Establish relationships with appropriate contacts to deliver a customer centric service.
- Excellent communication skills to respond to a variety of queries in a clear, concise, professional, and expert manner.
- Apply a high level of judgement and problem solving.
- Ability to understand a situation and identify the best course of action, considering the customer and business needs, and statutory requirements.
- Be able to recognise the queries that should be escalated to the third (Payroll Administration Manager) or fourth (Head of UK Payroll) level and undertake this in a timely manner to reduce risk (to the business and the employee).
