The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will join the IT Business Department and ensure that IT solutions meet Business Requirements and Constraints in terms of minimal functional scope, planning and budget. This role is available at either the Redhill or Cardiff location.
The main responsibilities include:
- Elicit business requirements and stakes through interviews, workshops and documentation review.
- Analyse, prioritize, streamline, and document those requirements.
- Liaise with remote solution experts to ensure correct understanding of needs and identification of optimized functional and technical solutions to meet those within overall deadlines and budget constraints.
- Establish and follow up planning and action plans to ensure business inputs and solutions are delivered on time and on scope.
- Review IT deliverables quality and provide assistance for solutions testing ensuring these meet minimum quality requirements for Going Live without risk for the business.
Ideal experience:
- Experienced in documentation of IT requirements and/or Business Processes, preferably as an IT Analyst or a Key User.
- Past personal or professional experience in IT developments appreciated.
- Strong analytical skills and logic with ability to bring structure to information collected.
- Natural curiosity and interest in understanding in details Business Processes and IT Solutions.
- Understanding of web APIs and associated tools recommended: HTTP, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, Postman, SOAP UI, monitoring tools (Kibana, Splunk).
- Knowledge of other IT languages such as Python, HTML and Javascript/Jquery or any other appreciated.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Strong analytical skills and logic with ability to bring structure to information collected.
- Natural curiosity and interest in understanding in details Business Processes and IT Solutions.
- Minimal technical literacy necessary.
- Good organisation skills with ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques appreciated (Excel, PowerBI, MS Access, SAS, SQL).
