The Stellantis UK Logistics department require Experienced HGV Car Transporter drivers in order to optimise the transport performance of Stellantis Group Brands (Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Fiat, Vauxhall, and Peugeot) which are destined for our retailer network & fleet customers. Transporting vehicles throughout the UK, using the latest generation of transporter equipment. Please note that the vehicles are fitted with a car transporter-sized cab. Stellantis require experienced drivers to start as soon as possible, who will be required to work from Killingholme. Main Activities include: Product loading and restraint. Completion of inspection and delivery documentation. Perform standardised work safely, report issues and propose improvements to your area. Safe delivery of our finished products to our UK dealerships. Support your colleagues by promoting a collaborative and positive work environment. Be familiar with the Health & Safety Policies in your role to achieve the organisation’s H&S objectives. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 3+ years transporter experience. Full class C&E licence. No more than 6 points, no IN, DD or DR penalty codes. In-date CPC & Digi Tacho. Dedication to customer focus, to meet the expectations and requirements of all internal and external customers. Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills in order to liaise effectively. Good organisation and planning skills. A good level of physical fitness. Essential Personal Attributes: Good communication & interpersonal skills. Reliable. Dedication to customer focus to meet the expectations and requirements of all internal and external customers. Self-motivation and have a drive for results. An ability to work with minimum supervision. Ability to make timely and well-judged decisions under pressure and with conflicting requests. Flexible working will be required at times to support transport operations. Benefits: Permanent position. 4 day on/4 day off working pattern (including weekends and bank holidays), 12 hour shifts. This working pattern is likely to involve 3 nights staying away from home. Working hours – average 48 hours per week across the year (varying between 36 and 48 hours per calendar week). Rate of pay will be £21.85 per hour Eligible for Attendance Bonus scheme up to £1,250 per year Eligible for tax-free meal allowances + tax-free overnight stay allowances. Fuel, toll, & parking costs covered. Competitive Holiday Entitlement, starting at 21 days based on this working pattern (which increases based on 5, 10, 15, 20 + 25 years’ service) + 7 bank holidays.
