We are looking for a Finance Analyst with a minimum of 1 year of current continuous financial experience of working in a similar role within a UK Main Multi-Dealer multi-marque Dealership/Group. You will have demonstrable finance experience along with accurate reporting skills and delivering to deadlines. Educational qualifications must include a professional qualification in Finance or Accounting (AAT, CIMA Part 1 etc).

Role Description: Support the Central Finance Department by ensuring efficient administration of all financial operations and systems. Work within an environment with dual reporting, hierarchically to the Departmental manager but with functional reporting to Divisional Financial Controllers and Dealership Accountants. Provide accuracy and consistency of work. Multitask and work across several different operations. Implementation and operation of the key financial controls that ensure the accuracy of the reported financial performance and avoid associated risks.

A Day in the Life: As a Financial Analyst no two days are the same. This means that there is a lot of variety, in terms of the tasks to accomplish, but also specific deadlines to meet each month. Therefore, it is important that you are a highly organised individual who enjoys being busy during an eventful day. I especially enjoy the analysis part of my job. I would say 60% of my day is looking into the company accounts and ensuring that everything is where it should be. Although being a Financial Analyst is an office-based job, a lot of my time is also spent liaising with other departments and managers regarding issues that arise during the analysis of company accounts. Overall, I feel that my day to day is fun, engaging, and I can contribute massively to the team to achieve common greater goals of the company.
