Manufacturer owned dealership opportunity. Are you an experienced financial professional with a background in the automotive industry, or are you looking to transition into this exciting field? Role Description: Extend financial management support to staff at all levels, ensuring Company income and expenditure is processed accurately and within set deadlines. Provide support and guidance for all financial and accounts-related matters to the Regional Operations Directors and to the dealership management teams within the Region. Professionally challenge General Managers on their accounts and results and work with them on implementing innovative solutions and new ways of working. Ensure the necessary controls are in place to ensure the commercial actions of the rest of the management team within the dealership are in line with Company policies and procedures.

Being organised is definitely a good skill to have, as well as inquisitiveness; there is always something going on. As a dealership accountant, you are involved in the day-to-day running of the dealership, but also the background, making sure the sales ledger, purchase ledger and balance sheet are well kept, ready for month end. The best part of the job is helping people to achieve results and working together with different departments to achieve success.
