Role Overview
This is a great opportunity for you to become a key member of our workshop team. An exciting new opportunity has come up here at our Croydon dealership as we’re on the lookout for a Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Diagnostic Technician you will diagnose complex systems across the whole range of vehicle systems, as well as routine service and repairs. We believe in developing YOU, providing a supportive and engaging place to work and offering training opportunities that keep you up to date with all the latest technologies to progress your career with us.
In this role you will also:
- Ensure Quality and a first time fix to delight our customers every time.
- Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues & sell-up opportunities.
- Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress.
- Develop your skills & knowledge via regular training including EV.
- Assist and coach your colleagues with technical assistance.
- Maintain a clean & safe work bay.
- Complete MOTs in line with DVSA standards.
A Day in the Life:
As a Diagnostic technician, you will be an experienced technician but also with the ability and passion for diagnosing trickier problems. You will be there to help out the other technicians on a daily basis when needed, but also the main person responsible for diagnosing faults. You will be using specialist tools to diagnose and repair faults. You’ll work closely with other technicians and the front of house service advisors to explain vehicle issues, as well as planning the correct maintenance and repairs.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician with a knack for diagnostics, a passion for continuous learning, and a drive to work on Stellantis brand products as a key member of our successful aftersales team. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification, at a minimum.
