We are looking for an experienced Warranty Administrator with a minimum of two years’ experience as a Warranty Administrator. You need to have strong communication skills and be willing and comfortable speaking with people. Demonstrable experience using a Dealer Management System is required; Autoline experience would be an advantage. You should also be able to work with Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience managing a team or supervisory skills would also be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Regular reporting on performance of the warranty team
- Regular meetings and updates with the warranty team to identify and action any concerns
- Regular communication with Line Manager to update on performance or areas of concern
- Invoice warranty claims, as a member of the warranty administration team
- Make sure all job cards are quality compliant with PSA standards
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Checking of claims to ensure all claims are paid accordingly
- Make sure all paperwork are properly managed and filed correctly to assist with audits
- Carry out periodical audits as required to ensure that the warranty team are compliant
- Manage all warranty debtors, discuss with team to address any issues across all dealers
- Ensuring all parts are returned, communicate parts returns required to relevant dealership
- Managing warranty parts return in a timely manner, ensure that all returns are documented
- Coach technicians and customer advisors in processes and procedures
- Ensure job cards are correctly documented
- Bring attention of the Aftersales Manager where there are any issues in process or quality
- Regular update meetings with Aftersales Manager to improve warranty quality and performance
- Assist and support the Finance department in their duties as and when required by the Financial Controller
- Register all warranty policies
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Warranty Administrator
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with people
- Experience using a Dealer Management System
- Autoline experience is an advantage
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience or supervisory skills are beneficial
