Job Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an in-house Secretariat team at the heart of Trustee operations, collaborating with senior stakeholders, influencing outcomes and making a real difference to members’ financial futures.

As an Assistant Trustee Services Manager you will work closely with the Trustee Services Manager to ensure the smooth running of Trustee Boards and deliver
high-quality governance.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing Trustee Board meeting packs, attending meetings, producing high-quality minutes and following up actions
• Liaising with administrators, actuaries, legal advisers and other key partners
• Helping to ensure compliance with pension legislation and governance standards
• Drafting and delivering member communications that are clear, engaging and compliant
• Reviewing administration outputs and helping identify service improvement
• Resolving complex member queries and complaints
• Contributing to the day-to-day operations of the Group’s risk benefit arrangements
• Delivering projects that enhance governance, efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Contributing to governance, compliance and investment-related activity
• Deputising for the Trustee Services Manager where required

•Extensive pensions experience (typically 10+ years), ideally with exposure to Trustee Boards
•Strong knowledge of DB and DC schemes and pension governance
•Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
•Confidence in handling complex technical information and communicating it clearly
•The ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
•A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
•APMI qualification (or working towards) is desirable
