Overview:
Reporting into the Global Project Manager, the Project Coordinator, Store Architecture will play an invaluable role within the Stella McCartney Architecture Department in supporting all store projects, managing the end-to-end process for new strategic store openings and refits across the estate working on a global scale across APAC, Japan, America and EMEA.
Your Mission:
- Coordinate creative, architectural and construction activities related to new store openings (touch ups, renovations and relocations etc.)
- Work with suppliers and assist in developing the tender for General Contractors and/or Millworks
- Assist in coordinating and supporting external contributors and consultants of the project (Landlord, local architect, general contractors, engineers, light designer etc.)
- Monitor budget, project timing and quality check during all phases of the project
- Support onsite store construction with potential periodical site visits and meetings; prepare reports for wider and punch list completion, to ensure the result is in line with brand\’s standard quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including VM, construction, Legal, IT and Retail Operations, to support the department during store design and build projects
- Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets, reporting back to the team periodically
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, including architects, general contractors, and engineering firms.
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
Your Talent:
- Degree in Architecture, Design or Engineering is desired.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally production/construction management
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
- Experience of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong project management skills, including experience managing varying size projects on a global scale.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Analytical and excellent attention to detail
Systems and Essentials:
- Excellent MS software skills
- Experience using Vectorworks
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other 3D modelling software.
- Ability to travel as needed to support store planning projects.
