Overview
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Global Marketing Director will lead the development and implementation of the global communication strategy for all brand initiatives, ensuring that each market has the necessary tools to create compelling communication programs and materials to support brand initiatives and launches. The role oversees all marketing areas, including Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing (Social and CRM), Wholesale and Retail, and Media. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Stella McCartney’s brand and customer mindset, and be a creative, innovative marketer capable of executing across various channels while driving long-term strategies and building brand equity.
Your Mission:
- Oversee Global Marketing strategy to increase brand exposure.
- Develop and execute annual, seasonal, and monthly marketing strategies aligned with the brand’s mission, including concepts, goals, creative briefs, timelines, budgets, and execution.
- Establish and grow brand strategy, partnerships, and a community of social content worldwide.
- Coordinate initiatives that connect in-store and digital experiences to enhance the omni-channel experience, creating a cohesive Stella McCartney brand story.
- Collaborate with Events and Global PR teams to ensure global synergy and enhance brand image.
- Drive performance in Wholesale and Retail Marketing, Media, Digital, and Brand Marketing, fostering employee growth and retention.
- Utilize data and analytics to track and optimize campaigns continuously.
- Manage the global social content calendar in collaboration with all markets.
- Work with global and local teams to localize campaigns and messages effectively.
- Oversee and support CRM strategies and systems.
- Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to ensure marketing activities deliver ROI.
- Leverage internal knowledge and data for engaging, creative outputs.
- Set benchmarks and KPIs, produce regular reports, and suggest optimizations.
- Manage the marketing team, focusing on succession planning and collaboration across departments.
- Ensure campaigns are accurately forecasted and delivered within budget.
