Graduate Design Assistant (12 month FTC)

This is a full time role, based in our London HQ for 5 days per week on 12-month fixed term contract.

Your Mission:

• Supporting the design and development of merchandise across all collections.

• Research of general trends, inspiration as well as details and materials.

• Presentation of trends to Design team with first sketches covering various product lines

• Development of sketches from inspirational through to technical drawings

• Development of prototypes.

• Preparing specs and managing deliveries and deadlines

• Mood board creation and research for season direction

• Supporting with the day to day upkeep and set up of the studio

• Supporting with the organisation and management of sample and archive pieces

• Strong hand drawing and sketching ability

• Confident in hand and machine sewing, sample making experience beneficial

• Strong communication skills

• Highly organised and strong time management skills

• Ability to understand creative direction and concepts

• Strong understanding of the brand ethos and values

• Ability to multi-task and work effectively on several projects simultaneously

• A team player, supporting and collaborating with other team members

• Creative thinker, with the ability to think outside the box and an eye for detail

Systems and Essentials:

• Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• Italian speaking would be beneficial but not essential
