To teach Maths & Science following the evolving Waldorf curriculum to our Middle School (Equivalent Year 7 – 9) including GCSE Preparation, considering the KS3 Science and Maths curriculum. Taking into account various abilities and needs in each class and to provide both challenge and inspiration. The role includes both weekly subject lessons in Maths and Science and block lessons in both subjects. Together the teaching load is similar to a fulltime class teacher. The role may also include some support lessons and preparation of Class V classes in Maths.
The right candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g BSc in Mathematics or related degree)
- Ability to deliver high-quality Mathematics & Science lessons covering a range of modules and concepts
- A good understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Mathematics
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning to ensure all learners progress and achieve to a high standard in preparation for examinations
