How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the clinical team, working closely with the Practice Director
- Deliver high standards of clinical care across a varied caseload (consultations and surgery)
- Mentor and develop less experienced vets, supporting case discussions and workups
- Contribute to driving the practice forward, team engagement, and a positive practice culture
- Support business performance, operational success, and practice growth
Working Pattern
Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts between 8:00 am–7:00 pm (Monday‑Friday) on a rota basis
Saturday mornings (8:30 am–1:30 pm) on a rotational basis

- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
