The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Performing local, remote and inter-networking design, implementation and documentation;

Utilizing and integrating network components such as bridges, routers and remote asynchronous links;

Monitoring the performance of the network platform and making technical recommendations on improvements if necessary;

Coordinating and taking lead of assigned projects in all technical and communication aspects;

Providing technical networking support to customers and peers;

Supporting the implementation and ongoing operations of network access control devices to include firewalls, web proxies, and SSL VPN devices;

Working collaboratively across a variety of business units to implement new technology;

Building and configuring solutions in the development, test and production environment;

Facilitating device refresh of network security devices with a focus on capacity, manageability, and security of new and existing security infrastructure;

Troubleshooting issues including network protocol and log analysis, raw data captures, and the correlation of disparate events spanning multiple devices and platform;

Enterprising network architecture, design, and support including network hardware, network protocols, and data flows.

Qualifications:

  • CCNA or CCNP Certifications or equivalent;
  • ~1-2 years of experience in network design, implementation and documentation;
  • Creating VPN tunnels to customer network;
  • Receiving supervision on issues relating to procedures and standards relevant to the products for which they are responsible and the operating environment in which they function.

Contract type: Fixed-term - duration to be determined
