Duties
- Professional proactive approach in handling cases and new client enquiries
- Ability to work well within a team
- Assisting with Mental Health and Court of Protection health and welfare cases
- Taking instructions
- Dealing with correspondence
- Drafting letters and applications
- Preparing court bundles
- Preparing brief to counsel and chronologies
- Maintaining accurate time recording
- Implementing any recommendations made by your supervisor promptly
- Attending court hearings with counsel
- Liaising with clients, court and opponents effectively
Skills required
- Work experience in Court of Protection matters
- Italian or Portuguese language skills preferred
- A strong academic background with a Law degree
- Legal experience as a Paralegal
- Clear understanding of the Court of Protection
- Business acumen
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
