Here at Langdons, we have an amazing opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join the team based in Motherwell. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday Days 06:00 - 14:00 week 1 & 10:00 - 18:00 week 2. In return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £45,225.11 per annum plus excellent company benefits!
The Workshop Technician role:

What you’ll be doing as our Workshop Technician:
- Ensuring vehicles are repaired and maintained in accordance with prescribed standards
- Preparing and presenting vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections
- Diagnosing vehicle-related defects using available diagnostic equipment and arrange for relevant action to be taken
- Liaising with vehicle manufacturers regarding acquiring of parts and replacement vehicles, keeping key colleagues informed of progress where necessary
- Ensuring high levels of safety and cleanliness at all times and that required house‑keeping duties meet required standards
- Updating and maintaining appropriate records and ensuring all relevant information is shared with relevant departments on a timely basis
What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Workshop Technician?
- Qualified to Level 3 or equivalent in HGV/LGV maintenance and repair
- Experienced in using transport repair tools and associated software
- Experienced in following established procedures and problem‑solving and/or making sound judgments where not all information is available

- Ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
- Ability to use initiative and organise their work so that key tasks can be completed fully and on time
